As a professional dog groomer you may be able to find employment in grooming salons, kennels, animal shelters, veterinarians offices, pet shops, pet suppliers, and more ... even operate your own pet grooming business! The Pet industry is rapidly growing and the gratificaiton you can receive is endless. Opportunities range from bather/brusher, to owning and operating your grooming salon or mobile operation.

The Wizard of Paws Grooming School is located at 19462 Coastal Highway, Unit 7, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. It is approximately 3 miles to the Atlantic Ocean, and within walking distance to many fine restaurants and tax-free outlet shopping centers, and much more.

 

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

A High School Diploma, or a GED equivalent is needed for admission to the school. Students must also be at least 18 years of age.

CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

In the case of previous experience, credit may be granted at the discretion of the school. Tuition proration will meet the weeks of training that the school feels the student would need to graduate.

DIPLOMA

A Diploma is awarded to those students who have met the course requirements and have achieved a final grade average of 75% or above.

JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE

The Wizard of Paws GRooming School does not guarantee employment to students. We do provide our students with the following:

• ~ Personal Letter of recommendation
• ~ A complete transcript of grades upon graduation
• ~ Job Openings that are posted and available to students

Graduates may contact the school at any time in reference to new job openings.

REFUND POLICY

Refund in the event of rejection: An applicant rejected by the school is entitled to a full refund of monies paid.

Program - Basic all breeds

Hours - 260hrs

Full-Time - 8 weeks

Tuition - $4,400.00

Kit - $600.00

Total - $5,000.00

SCHOOL HOURS

Tuesday - Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Schedules may vary to accomodate students.

HOUSING ASSISTANCE

For students located outside the Rehoboth Beach, DE area and wishing to enroll, housing assistance may be available. Housing fees are weekly and are not included in the cost of tuition.
