First Time Groomers Q&As about DVDs

Links

Following are the most common questions about our DVDs. For more information on general Dog Grooming and Dog Care, please subscribe to our Free newsletter. In the newsletter, we cover many different tips and techniques and include video clips and general information.

1. Is it really that easy to follow your DVDs and learn to groom?

We made a special emphasis on teaching rather than just showing how to groom. All our DVDs are very easy to follow and provide step-by-step instructions. In most of the cases we start with the overall plan of what we need to achieve and then show how the cuts or styles are performed. Even after you become a seasoned groomer, our DVDs can serve as a good refresher of how to properly do the grooming.

2. What tools do I need to start Grooming?

The tools you need will depend on your dog's breed. Often, the length of your dog’s hair will dictate what type of tools you use. In our DVDs we cover the basic information on types of tools needed. If your require more information, do not hesitate to contact us and we can point you in a right direction.

3. If my dog is a mixed breed and there is no DVD specific to my dog’s breed – can I still use your grooming DVDs?

Yes. We have two DVDs that fit your needs. Our Grooming Pound Puppies DVD is specifically designed for cuts and styles of mixed breeds or breeds that we don’t cover in the other DVDs. You should also consider Basic Grooming 101 DVD. This DVD provides you with all the basics that you need to know before you start grooming any dog.

4. Are there a lot of people that use your DVDs?

We have over 2,500 satisfied buyers of our DVDs and Tools. We are very proud that our DVDs are official material used in number of grooming schools and educational institutions. You may have seen our advertisements on national TV including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and other programs.

5. Should I buy both Basic Grooming DVD and breed specific DVD or just start with one of them (and which)?

This depends on your current knowledge of grooming. If you are just starting out, the best is to purchase our bundle of Basic Grooming 101 DVD and breed specific DVD as this provides the best value for you and guides you step-by-step on how to groom your dog. If you have done grooming before and you are ready for specific cuts, then breed specific DVD will be the best.

6. After I buy your DVD – am I on my own or can you provide me some help if I need it?

We worked very hard to create DVDs that should provide easy step-by-step instructions. But – if you have any question, contact us via the web form located on the website. Also, as an added benefit we are creating a FREE monthly newsletter which will answer many common questions and discuss current, up and coming issues and information on dog care and grooming. We are always looking to enhance help to our customers and we maybe soon become part of couple of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and others.
